This was my first experience renting w/ Fitzroy and I am over the moon happy. This Zendaya Gown is an absolute stunner. I received so many wonderful compliments from strangers - it was a show stopper! That dress made my night and I felt so confident in it. Fitzroy took the stress that I normally get from shopping for events like this; where I usually spend so much money on something I'd wear once and feel so guilty about it. This way I was able to wear something totally different and not feel bad about spending hundreds on such a statement piece. I cannot wait for another opportunity to rent from Fitzroy.
The dress itself runs a little large, and I wish I sized down to a 2 (I'm wearing a 4). The waist band has lots of stretch and there would have been less material in the torso which I would have preferred. I wore it with sheer black tights for the formal event, then removed them for the club afterward. For reference, I'm 5'6", 135lb, 34DD, 27" waist, 40" hips.

This dress was AMAZING to wear for the black tie wedding I attended! Felt so beautiful and sexy and got so many compliments/comments on it! I am generally a size 6 in dresses but sized down to a 4 and it fit like a glove. So comfortable and easy to dance in. It is a very long gown (I’m 5’8 for reference) but I’m wearing 6 inch heels and they made the dress fall perfectly. I personally wore black shorts underneath in addition to the bodysuit just because I felt more comfortable that way for this particular wedding. It’s beautiful and comfortable both ways though :)

Loved this dress. Knew it was a bit revealing for a work event so I wore an added body suit leggings with thigh high boots and it was perfect for my event. It’s long for someone who is 5’4” but not much that it looked ridiculous.

I had my eye on this dress for years and was waiting for the perfect fall wedding at a moody venue to wear it! It’s easy to get on and off with a stretchy body suit type waistband and bottom half, so you’re not exposed under the tulle. So many compliments received and know it is so flattering on many different body types. Worth the rental fee for a much higher value look!

This dress its a show stopper I felt so sexy, got compliments from everyone, many girls at the wedding asked me where I got the dress even a girl walking down the street stop me to ask me, of course I told them Fitzroy Rentals in Toronto.
I don’t give 5 stars because the buttons of the bodysuit would not stay snapped together, I had to use a big safety pin the only one I found and it was very uncomfortable. Other than that amazing!!

Was great overall! I got tons of compliments :) Things to consider are: if you have a large chest, you will need fashion tape since you can’t wear a bra. The straps run long and the body suit is a bit tight if you aren’t short (I’m 5’6”). Absolutely get the dress insurance for this dress!! The tulle is delicate and very long so if you’re wearing a stiletto, you will get it caught and a small rip is inevitable.
In short, I loved the dress but the proportions were a bit off (length/straps/bodysuit).

This dress is EVERYTHING!! 1st time renting with Fitzroy and had a great experience. I live in Halifax, NS but had a wedding to attend in Victoria, BC. Dress arrived at my hotel in Vancouver as expected. The dress was so comfortable and I felt like a million bucks. So many compliments! I am 5”7 130lbs and wore a size 6. With 3.75 inch platform heels I still had plenty of dress length. The attached body suit really made a difference. I definitely plan to rent from Fitzroy again! What a concept! THANK YOU!

Bodysuit underneath is comfortable and nude but I wanted a bit of coverage so I paid with a black silk mini slip and it was perfect it looked part of the dress! Was definitely a show stopper as many people complimented throughout the night.

Such a jaw dropping dress! I felt amazing in this dress all night and received so many compliments. However i will say, it’s a lot more see through than it appears. Maybe the one i got has worn out? The back was almost completely see thru in the bum area, it feels like it’s lacking a layer of fabric, I’m not sure.

I’ve been so excited to talk about this amazing dress! Got SO many compliments all night and the dress fit well for a wedding guest occasion. I agree with the praise from other reviews so instead of repeating, I’m going to add some detail/for specifics for other anxious girlies who may have been in my situation: never tried on and wasn’t sure about how secure it would feel.
SECURITY: on the outside, the dress may look risky like the ladies are gonna flop out, but it’s relatively very secured. Specifically there is a self-tie on the back of the neck area, which determines how far the chest parts could slip to the side: if you tie it fairly tight, they can’t possibly fall and reveal your goodies.
FIT: very true to size, but definitely pay attention to the specific measurements provided in the sidebar of each dress. Different designers have wildly diff sizes, for example a size 0 here is 25-27 inches while size 0 for another designer could be 30-32 inches. Follow that measurement instead of “I’m usually a size x”
LENGTH: I’m 5’3 and with 2 inch heels I had to carry the front of my dress all night as it’s maybe 2-3 inches longer than I’d like. That’s my fault for not growing enough tho, and carrying it around wasn’t a dealbreaker for how beautiful the dress is
BOTTOMS: you may notice the dress has a large side slit, but I liked that it was only on one side, not both. Others have noted that this has a nude bodysuit inside, but I wanted to mention two things:
1) if you have any juiciness in your thighs then the (snap closure) bodysuit will constantly undo itself just from sitting or getting up, and
2) you basically NEED to wear some shorts or a skirt under. I wish there was lining but it looks like your bare bum. I wasn’t going for that and thank god I wore shorts because of 1), with the bodysuit constantly snapping, I gave up redoing it and it was fine with the shorts. Without shorts and it undoes itself, you may have a scandal.
I hope this helps someone! Size 0 was a perfect fit for me where I’m 5’3, around 108lb, and usually wear 26-27 inch bottoms. Tbh if this dress came in white, I’d literally wear it for my future wedding - that’s how much I was in love with it!

The dress was stunning! Fit super well, had some stretch in the waist which was great. Although I am 5'7, it was a little long, even with 4-inch heels (dragging on the ground without them). I received so many compliments and because it was tulle, it just floated everywhere I walked, so delightfully. I ordered a size 4 dress which fit my upper half perfectly, but I think my butt (which is a size 6), was a bit too big for the bodysuit underlay, as the snaps on the bodysuit kept undoing every time I sat down. Big butt problems I guess!

Loved this dress so much, it has a bodysuit inside making it super comfy. It does run big and the elastic around the waste is very forgiving so I found that my regular size felt loose, specifically in the torso. I’m usually a size 8, this is a 6 and I probably could have gotten away with the 4!
If you find the torso a little bulky like I did, you can tighten the ties at the neck which made a significant difference. Perfect length with some platform heels!

I found the built in nude body suit to be the perfect amount of coverage, but could see why someone might want to wear black spandex shorts underneath for a bit more. I’m 5’6” and with 2” heels I found it to be a good length. I have an average-athletic build and am around 160, would usually order an 8 for sizing, but the 6 was the perfect size. Ps. Definitely recommend the booby tape to keep everything in place, I used nude tape and didn't give the girls another thought for the evening. I ordered this dress online and wore the 6, I likely would have sized down if I'd tried on in the boutique but the gauzy fabric falls beautifully so it didn't look too big. The nude bodysuit underneath adds comfort and keeps things from feeling too sheer as well.
If you're even thinking about it, at least give this gorgeous gown a try!

I wore it to a black tie wedding, the pick up was super easy, I would recommend if you have a steamer at home to give it a once over, the fabric does get wrinkled. I typically wear a size 6 dress but because of where this dress hits on my waist I opted for a 4 (fit perfectly). It’s very sheer so suggest wearing shorts underneath (I wore black spanx shorts) to keep it wedding appropriate. Could not recommend more!!!

The dress is actually SO comfortable because of the built-in bodysuit and even though it was such a showstopper I could move really freely and it was really flattering as well! (It is quite sheer in back so if you’re worried about buttcheeeks I recommend wearing some black booty shorts underneath)
